U.P. Sainik School Admission Notifications 2021-22, Admission Form for Class 7 and 9, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus

The Captain Manoj Pandey U.P. Sainik School released Admission Notification 2021-22 for online applications from the eligible candidates for admission in Class VII and IX, for which written entrance examination scheduled to be held in the month of Jan 2021 at various examination centres across the Uttar Pradesh. Eligible aspirants who are seeking admission in U.P. Sainik School for the academic session, 2021-22 are advised to go through the notifications available at the official website of https://www.upsainikschool.org check eligibility and keep ready the documents, required at the time to apply online.   

Girls candidates are also eligible for admission in U.P. Sainik School in class IX only. Eligibility for girls candidates is same as per as the boys candidates.

 Eligible candidates for the academic session 2021-22 only boys for Class 7 and boys & girls for Class 9 whose father is domicile of U.P. and fulfill other eligibility criteria can Apply Online only from 01 October 2020 to 15 Nov 2020. School prospectus with instructions will be available on school website www.upsainikschool.org. Application form, application fee and admit card can be submitted and downloaded online only. Application form in any other way will not be accepted in any case.

Eligibility for Admission to UP Sainik School

(a)    Father of candidate must be a domicile of UP. 

(b)    Only male candidates having age of more than 10½ years and less than 13 years on 02 July of the year in which admission is sought are eligible for class VII. The age of candidates seeking admission in Class IX will be between 12½ to 15 years. For example, for session 20221-22 a candidates must have been born not before     02 Jul 2008 and not later than 01 Jan 2011 for Class VII and a candidates must have been born not before  02 Jul 2006 and not later than 01 Jan 2009 for Class IX. Eligibility of girls candidates is same as per as the boys candidates.

(c)   There is only SELF FINANCE SEAT for Class IX Boys’ candidate.

(d)    Must have passed Class VI and VIII for admission in class VII and IX respectively by 20 May 2020 from a recognized school.

Reservation Policy

Out of total vacancies, 27% of the seats are reserved for OBC, 21% for SC, 02% for ST and 10% for EWS category. Vimukt Jati will not be considered in the ST category.

If any false caste certificate is found at any time his candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be initiated as per rules. 

Documents required to apply online

1.     Caste Certificate belongs to SC/ST and OBC reserved category.

2.     Date of Birth Certificate.

3.     Permanent Residential/Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.

4.     Aadhar Card of the Parents and candidate (Optional).

5.     Latest passport size photograph of the candidate without headgear.

6.     Signature of the candidate.

Procedure for Apply Online

APPLICATION FORM will be submitted ONLINE only and major steps in filling the form are:-

REGISTRATION – Generation of Login ID and Password.
FILLING OF APPLICATION FORM – Applicant after Login through Login ID and Password will fill application form which includes uploading of recent photograph and signature (file type should be .jpg or .jpeg & file size should be 20 to 100 kb).
PAYMENT – Make Payment of Application Fee. Bank transaction charges will be extra. Fee is not refundable in any case. Applicant must take the printout of the Application form and keep it safe for future references.

Selection Procedure

7.   For admission to school, candidates must qualify in the written examination, consisting of one question papers, i.e., Mathematics, Intelligence, English, General Knowledge. Exam will be OMR based. Three times candidates to the no of seats available will be called for interview on basis of merit in written examination. Admission is granted on the basis of merit after interview and Medical Examination. 

Pattern of Examination

8.   OMR based entrance examination for admission in UP Sainik School is being conducted in the month of Jan every year.  There is no negative marking exist. The pattern of question papers for the entrance examination is as follows :-

5.   Difficulty of question papers of the Written Examination for admission in UP Sainik School is as per the standard of Class VI/VIII of U.P. Board / Central Board of Secondary Education/ Council for Indian School Certificate Examination for admission to Class VII/IX respectively.
