Eligibility to Apply Online for AISSEE 2025
The All India Sainik Schools Admission Notification 2025 for inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission in Class VI and IX to all 33 Sainik Schools and Approved New Sainik Schools (Class VI only) has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), for which Written entrance examination scheduled to be held on __Feb 2025 at various examination centres across the country. Eligible aspirants who are seeking admission in Sainik Schools including Approved New Sainik Schools for the academic session, 2025-26 are advised to go through the notifications available at the official website of National Testing Agency, check eligibility and keep ready the documents, required at the time to apply online.
Minimum 10% seats are reserved for girls candidates for admission in all Sainik Schools. Eligible girls candidates also apply online for admission, for which written entrance examination scheduled to be held on __Feb 2025 at various examination centres across the country. Eligibility of girls candidates is same as the boys for all Sainik Schools.
Candidates belongs to Other Backward Classes (OBC) are eligible to avail reservation facilities for admission to Sainik Schools according to their sub-category. To avail the reservations facilities a valid caste certificate issued by competent authority must be submitted at the time of apply online.
Eligibility for Admission to Sainik Schools
Age of candidates should be 10-12 years (Date of birth between 01 Apr 2014 to 31 Mar 2016) for Class VI and 13-15 years (Date of birth between 01 Apr 2011 to 31 Mar 2013) for class IX as on 31 Mar 2025. For admission to class 9th the candidates should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school. Admission for girls is also open for Class IX, subject to the availability of vacancies. The Eligibility of girls candidates is same as the boys for all Sainik Schools.
Documents required to apply online
Caste Certificate belongs to SC/ST and OBC reserved category.
Date of Birth Certificate.
Permanent Residential/Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.
In the case of Serving Defence Personal – Relationship certificate from Record Office or from the unit where the parent of the candidate serving at present (size 100kb-400kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
In the case of Ex-Servicemen – Extract of Discharge Book where the name of the candidate endorsed (size 100kb-400kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Latest scanned passport size photograph of the candidate without headgear (size 10kb – 200 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Signature of the candidate (size 4kb – 30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Candidate’s left hand thoub impression (size 10kb-50kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
