AISSEE Notifications 2025-26
The All India Sainik Schools Admission Notification 2025 for inviting online applications from the eligible candidates for admission in Class VI and IX to all 33 Sainik Schools and Approved New Sainik Schools has been released by National Testing Agency (NTA), for which Written entrance examination scheduled to be held on __ Feb 2025 at various examination centres across the country. Eligible aspirants who are seeking admission in Sainik Schools and Approved New Sainik Schools for the academic session, 2025-26 are advised to go through the notifications available at the official website of National Testing Agency, check eligibility and keep ready the documents, required at the time to apply online.
A minimum 10% seats are reserved for girls candidates for admission in all Sainik Schools. Eligible girls candidates also apply online for admission in Class VI only, for which written entrance examination re-scheduled to be held on __ Feb 2025 at various examination centres across the country. The eligibility of girls candidates is same as per as the boys for all Sainik Schools.
Candidates belongs to Other Backward Classes (OBC) are eligible to avail reservation facilities for admission to Sainik Schools according to their sub-category. To avail the reservations facilities a valid caste certificate issued by competent authority must be submitted at the time of apply online.

Eligibility for Admission in Sainik Schools
The age of candidates should be 10-12 years (Date of birth between 01 Apr 2012 to 31 Mar 2014) for Class VI and 13-15 years (Date of birth between 01 Apr 2009 to 31 Mar 2011) for class IX as on 31 Mar 2024. For admission to class 9th the boys should be studying in Class VIII in a recognized school. The eligibility of female candidates is same as per as the boys for all Sainik Schools.
Documents Required for Admission
1. Caste Certificate belongs to SC/ST and OBC reserved category.
2. Date of Birth Certificate.
3. Permanent Residential/Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.
4. In the case of Serving Defence Personal – Relationship certificate from Record Office or from the unit where the parent of the candidate serving at present (size 100kb-400kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
5. In the case of Ex-Servicemen – Extract of Discharge Book where the name of the candidate endorsed (size 100kb-400kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
6. Latest scanned passport size photograph of the candidate without headgear (size 10kb – 200 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
7. Signature of the candidate (size 4kb – 30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
8. Candidate’s left hand thoub impression (size 10kb-50kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Application Fee for Apply Online
1. Candidates who belongs to General/Wards of Defence personnel and ex-servicemen/OBC (NCL) -Rs.650/-
2. For SC/ST Category Candidates – Rs.500/-
3. Mode of Fee Payment – Online Mode.
Instructions for Apply Online
1. Candidates are advised to go through the notifications and instructions for online application for admission to Sainik Schools issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and check their eligibility ie age criteria and education qualifications before apply online.
2. Candidates should fill online application form very carefully and re-check before final submission. Once submitted the online application no rectifications/amendment permitted.
3. Scanned copy of all the documents required to keep ready in JPG/JPEG format. Download the original notifications.
4. Eligibility of candidates (boys and girls) for all Sainik Schools are same.
5. Apply Online Registration using Email ID and Mob No.
6. Fill online application from and note down system generated application No.
7. After final submission, candidates should print/save application from for further reference.
